AZMARI - NEW EP

We are launching a fundraising campaign for our next EP, scheduled for April 2025! Any financial help from you will be most welcome! Various rewards are planned according to your contributions, so pre-order your record to enable us to create it ;) WE'RE THERE! First of all, thank you so much for your help, and if you weren't able to contribute, you still can! The campaign only ends in 3 days, so we've set ourselves some new goals! NEW GOAL : - With 350 eur more, we'll be able to afford a photo shoot with a pro to promote the release of this new EP! - With a further 1500 eur, we'll be able to produce (and why not?) a magnificent video clip of one of our new songs! So if you still want to contribute, don't hesitate! For this new opus, which will take the form of a 5 (or 6)-track EP, the group is teaming up with Guillaume Souffrice, a French artist they have known for a long time and who used to be the band’s guitar player. Trained as a clinical music therapist, this music enthusiast has extensively studied rhythms and musical traditions from many diverse and interesting cultures. He left the band in 2017 to learn Gnawa music (on the guembri) in Morocco with several Gnawa masters from Marrakech (maalem Brahim Belkani, maalem Ahmed Baalil, maalem Aziz Mkirij). He then left for Iranian Kurdistan to learn the daf, a large frame drum played in Sufi ceremonies. Since 2020, he has also been learning North Indian classical music shehnai (Indian oboe) in the city of Varanasi with Pandit Chandrakant Prasad. It is with the desire to include these three traditional instruments in their musical universe that the band will be heading for the studio at the end of November. To do this, we need you, and we need money :). We're launching a fund-raising campaign to raise 4000 euros to cover recording costs (studio fees, mixing, mastering, artwork).
