<p>The ensemble Le Stagioni was created in 2017: it gathers together experienced young musicians, who all lead international careers both as soloists and with the great European early music ensembles.</p>

<p>They are united by a common desire to use their experience in a fresh new approach to performing music on period instruments. Led by the harpsichordist Paolo Zanzu, the ensemble can vary in form and size, with vocal music as a focal point. </p>

<p>The repertoire of Le Stagioni is centred around the great works of European baroque music, with a particular emphasis on Italian music, and that of the Neapolitan school. </p>
<p>The first concert will take place on 23 October at Salle Cortot in Paris. Joined by the Spanish soprano Lucia Martin Carton, the French mezzo Anna Reinhold, the Italian counter-tenor Carlo Vistoli and the English tenor Nicholas Scott, the orchestra of Le Stagioni will perform airs and duos, overtures and concerti grossi by George Frideric Handel.</p>
<p>From the 2018-2019 season onwards Le Stagioni will be in residence at the Théâtre de Semur-en-Auxois in Burgundy, where they will give several concerts.</p>
Allocation of funds
<p>This funding is intended to finance the organisation of the first concert of the ensemble, which takes place on 23 October 2018 at the Salle Cortot in Paris. Its success will allow the orchestra to make its long awaited debut.</p>
<p>The first step, consisting 5,000 euros, will pay the venue rental, the instrument transport, the box office and the administration.</p>
<p>Venue rental: 2,650 euros.</p>
<p>Administration, conception and printing: 1,700 euros</p>
<p>Box office: 200 euros</p>
<p>Instrument transport: 450 euros</p>
<p>If we reach this first step, we can carry on with our funding and get to the second step, consisting 5,000 euros, which will help us pay the musicians' fees. The total fee is 25,000 euros.</p>

<p>The association Le Stagioni will collect the whole fund.</p>
