<p><img alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/524287/KissTitres-1528398161.jpg" width="100%" />From October 5 to October 7, 2018, the historical Ch&acirc;teau du Fe&yuml; becomes</p> <p><em>Fe&yuml; - Rencontres d&rsquo;arts</em>, a new creative and experimental platform just 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Paris. A three-day artistic laboratory, this multidisciplinary festival gathers about one hundred artists and presents their work in a unique, otherworldly environment. Cinema, publishing, music, gastronomy, performance and visual arts encounter one another to create an ephemeral village in the green hills of Burgundy.</p> <p><br /> FINE ARTS<br /> Group show exhibiting the work of thirty international artists, both inside the castle and &nbsp;outdoors.<br /> <br /> CINEMA<br /> Screening of a selection of films throughout the day + special cinema sessions scheduled at the end of each day.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>GASTRONOMY<br /> Selection of local organic wines and products in a tasting area + pop-up restaurant and culinary performances by high-end young chefs.<br /> <br /> PUBLISHING HOUSE<br /> Reading area presenting a selection of art books, magazines and exclusive publications such as artist monographs and the festival&rsquo;s catalogue.<br /> <br /> MUSIC<br /> Live performances throughout the three days + special playlists conceived by guest artists and broadcasted in several parts of the castle.<br /> <br /> PERFORMANCE<br /> Dance, happenings and participatory performances organized throughout the weekend by guest artists.<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p><img alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/524288/KissTitres2-1528398185.jpg" width="100%" />The diverse programming aims to breath new life into &nbsp;the Ch&acirc;teau du Fe&yuml;, a former residence of one of Louis XIII&rsquo;s councillors. From its baroque interiors to its century-old trees, its vegetable garden, swimming pool, and its old bread oven, the ch&acirc;teau will serve as a creative and experimental playground for both artists and visitors. It is located just steps away from Joigny, a city renowned for its architecture (19 listed monuments), &nbsp;gastronomy and wine, and which is only 1 hour and 10 minutes away from Paris by train ( and 1h30 minutes by car.)</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/524399/4-1528451057.jpg" width="100%" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/524285/KissTitres3-1528398102.jpg" width="100%" /><em>Fe&yuml; - Rencontres d&rsquo;arts</em> &nbsp;is the first time ever that the castle will be open to the public. Our goal is to take this opportunity to create an experience for both art experts and newcomers to discover art pieces along with this magical place located in the heart of Jovinien - a community of municipalities that has been declared as presenting &quot;economic and social difficulties&quot; by the French administration since 2016. By partnering up with several local structures (shops, transport, accommodation, etc.), <em>Fe&yuml; - Rencontres d&rsquo;arts</em> wishes to participate in the revitalization of this region, and to feature the various initiatives and people there who support us day after day!</p> <p><br /> -&gt; ARTS: Create a dialogue between different creative forms and practices through eclectic programming mixing renowned artists with emerging talents.<br /> <br /> -&gt; ENCOUNTERS: Bring a contemporary and international art scene to Burgundy to create encounters between artists and audiences of all ages hailing from different backgrounds.<br /> <br /> -&gt; HERITAGE: Rediscover the French heritage by creating a young cultural event in a historic home. Guided tours of the ch&acirc;teau will be offered during the festival.</p> <p><br /> <img alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/524290/KissTitres4-1528398224.jpg" width="100%" /><em>Fe&yuml; - Rencontres d&rsquo;arts</em> is the initiative of twenty young artists and art enthusiasts who all volunteered to create this new project.</p> <p>About a year ago now, we decided to gather our strengths and skills to create a unique creative platform.</p> <p>We decided to be ambitious by choosing to create a multidisciplinary event with talented artists whose work we greatly admire.
