Holy Cap, the promenade continues!

From Dream to Reality In 2020, two video games enthusiasts decided to create their own studio: Holy Cap. The goal? To bring life to a project they had dreamed of for years: a 2D platformer that captures the essence of the best collect-a-thons from the N64/Playstation1 era. And so, four years later, Promenade was born. Thanks to you, the players, Nemo has traveled the world, from France to Brazil, and across the United States. Thousands of people have tried racing against the penguin, painting flowers, exploring the depth of space, and experiencing Nemo’s life-changing adventure. The press' feedback was amazing, and we are overwhelmed with joy by seeing the players' love for our game. Towards New Horizons Now that Promenade has been released and that the initial excitement has passed, it’s time for Holy Cap to think about the future. We are working on several projects, some of which are quite advanced, while others are still in the brainstorming phase. These pre-production phases are crucial for creating a game, but also for the studio: they allow us to plan the studio’s futur. A Brutal Change We are happy to share one of our most polished projects with you: Brutal Ball. A multiplayer game that, like Promenade, is inspired by our favorite games as players and our desire to create something that we would love. "Brutal Ball is the fusion between Super Smash Bros and Rocket League" – My mom Brutal Ball is a 1v1 or 2v2 game. The goal is to destroy your opponent’s emblem by shooting at it with a ball. The game plays like a fast-paced and intense 2D platformer. It’s a sports game that integrates mechanics from fighting games. The game will be presented on various streams during the campaign, where you will be able to ask us questions and learn more about the process behind creating a video game like this one!
