JULIE & MARGO : From Bask Country to Roma !

This project seemed obvious to us. This evidence generated by the same intense passion for our beautiful discipline that is artistic swimming (synchronized, it's the same!). Yet nothing predestined us to meet. We had different journeys, in different cities, and even at different times. OUR HISTORY Everyone has suffered a lot from these 2 Covid years and repeated lockdown. You too may have doubted, questioned everything, wanted to go to the other side of the world... But for us, it will have been very positive for at least one thing. Our meeting. Here is an excerpt from it (instagram feed of June 17, 2020): "Hey hi Margo, I know you do synchro shows around here. It would be nice if we could chat synchro and why not do stuff together. Write to me! Julie" And then, following this message there were many others, you can imagine! However, to our great misfortune, there is no synchronized swimming competition club here in the French Basque Country. And who says no club, says no coach. So no sync! So at the start of 2022, we decided to roll up our sleeves and start creating a new duet at all costs. We ask for help from the people we know around us to move forward step by step. And since thanks are always at the end, we prefer to put them at the beginning! So, we THANK YOU. You who kindly and freely volunteer to help us: - Sara (EASO swimming club), who allows us to come and squat her half lane in San Sebastian and who took us a license - Sandrine (Marignane Nat Synchro), who organizes training courses for us in Marignane and who supports us morally - Karine (Girondins de Bordeaux), who advises us and corrects us to progress - Josephine, who gives us her free time to correct us after her work - The Chassaigne family, always listening and ready to help us - Elba and her parents to carpool and make the trips to San Seb more fun. - Our husbands, who provide us with immeasurable moral and logistical support, and who are present by our side at every stage. - Our families, who support us and give us confidence, on site and to the end of the world - Our friends who encourage us daily and from a distance. WE LOVE YOU !!! We hope you find yourself in it because it is thanks to all of you that we find the strength to continue to live our dream and our passion. (Uh if this is not the case, write to us quickly, we will remedy it quickly!!!) THE PROJECT We have just returned from the French Masters Championships in Lille where we won the silver medal. We really didn't expect it because we don't have optimal training conditions to prepare for this type of event. We have combined our forces and our experiences to try to come up with something good. We owe this victory to our desire to succeed together. We want to prove that despite our pasts and our differences, passion is stronger and can go a long way. We swim to a compilation of music carefully chosen to represent women and encourage them to be themselves. To live their dreams and give themselves the means to succeed. We hope we can inspire them and give them the strength to fight for what they love and the challenges they want to accomplish. But suddenly we can't stop there... our path is not over! We want to go further and reach more people. That's why we challenged ourselves to go to the European Championships in Rome in August. And for that we need you 💪🏻💪🏻
