KAFMARON'S 1st ALBUM
<p><strong>Many of you have asked for it ...There it is!</strong></p>
<p>After the release of the Video clip #LOKAL, we need you to help make our dream come true: the co-creation of our “1st Album”!</p>

<p>In this experience that we will live together, we invite you to dive into the heart of the Reunionese culture. Some of you may even come to the studio with us (physically or through video)</p>
<p>It is important for us to be financially as independent as possible. Just thinking that we can co-create with you, somebody who shares our values, is enough to motivate us more than ever. At the moment we are still in the studio, we have recorded 4 out of 12 titles so far. In September we will begin the last 8 titles. Good news! The drums & bass are complete. Congratulations to the musicians Mahesh, Bino and Baptiste. All we have left to do is to record keyboards, guitars, and vocals.</p>

<p>In October we have planned to record our special guests, amongst them there will be a choir, brass and violins ... stop!... let’s not break the suspense. You will know more, thanks to the videos that will be sent to you during the process.</p>

<p>Idriss better known as Kafmaron, invites us to the heart of Reunion Island. Singer and songwriter, graduate from the FNEIJMA Institute, he is finalizing the recording of his 1st Album for the end of the year.</p>

<p> The Reunionese singer’s music takes its roots from Maloya, the traditional music inherited from times of slavery and which occupies a big part of Reunionese culture. The creole tongue resonates through traditional percussions and the sound of drums, all of this sublimed and embraced by the melody of the piano and the riffs of the guitar, drifting from acoustic ballades to electric rhythms.</p>

<p> Inspired by the songs of the land, Kafmaron smoothes his writing and embellishes his texts always in Reunionese Creole by pursuing in the steps and meeting with the “Zarboutan”, as the Reunionese people call them, the pioneers of modern Maloya. By diving right into the heart of some problematics linked to the complex multiculturality of the Island, he tends to bring Love and Solidarity through his music.</p>
<p> The adventure started in 2009, when he first started his carrer in Australia, then South Africa in 2014 ending with a European Tour in 2018. Good news, Kafmaron will be touring as early as 2019 as a Quintet.</p>
