MAMA SHAKERS, 3ème Album

Mama Shakers 3rd album is on its way! We’ve put blood, sweat & tears, and most of all lots of love like in the best of dishes into this album and now we need your help to take it out of the oven! Finally, after the 2nd opus “Cannibal Rhythm” released in 2019, Mama Shakers is getting ready to drop their 3rd record “Every Time I Go Back Home”! Following the two first albums that where totally DIY, we wanted to make it bigger and better this time around! After weeks of rehearsals and 6 days of intense recording in one of the best studios in France, well to be honest, we ended up broke… Recording, mixing/mastering, artwork, pressing + make the release of our dreams: music videos, promotion and the biggest release party in history of the Mama Shakers on the 17th of November in Paris, at Le Studio de l'Ermitage, all with our own funds - you can imagine that our pockets are empty! So to make all of this happen, you understood it right: WE NEED YOU! “Every Time I Go Back Home” has 13 songs, with 7 original compositions. It’s the result of 3 years of playing new tunes all over Europe, to try them out in front you as a lovely audience and to perfect them to become la crème de la crème. We’ve had the great honour to record for a week in the magnificent Studio du Bras D’Or with the finest sound-engineer Bruno Dupont. On top of that, the album has been mixed and mastered by the excellent Pierre Thouvenot from Orion Productions. All of this combined will make you hear the Mama Shakers like you’ve never heard before! For those who don’t know us yet, let us present ourselves: Mama Shakers - led by the charismatic Angela Strandberg - gives tribute to the long forgotten music from the 1920s with original compositions and the best of classics. With lots of vocal harmonies, energetic arrangements and a style of their own, Mama Shakers grabs the audience along on a youthful time travel that won’t leave anyone indifferent! Since 2016 Mama Shakers has made more than 200 shows all over Europe.
