<p><strong>Fr: <em>Nous avons besoin de vous pour r&eacute;aliser notre r&ecirc;ve: faire un album!&nbsp;</em></strong></p> <p>&Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri est un projet parisien de Jazz et Swing aux notes latines compos&eacute; par&nbsp;Gwen Ollivier au piano, John Dufoss&eacute; &agrave; la contrebasse, Etienne Favier &agrave; la guitare et bien s&ucirc;r &Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri &agrave; la voix. L&#39;album regroupera nos&nbsp;chansons pr&eacute;f&eacute;r&eacute;es entre 1920 et 1955&nbsp;de Swing Am&eacute;ricain&nbsp;mais aussi des tr&eacute;sors de la Chanson Fran&ccedil;aise et du Bol&eacute;ro-Son.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>En:</strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>We need you to make our dream&nbsp;come true: to record an album!</em></strong></p> <p>&Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri is a Paris-based&nbsp;Jazz and Swing project with Latin overtones formed of Gwen Ollivier on piano, John Dufoss&eacute; on double bass, Etienne Favier on guitar and of course &Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri on vocals. C&#39;est parti! :)</em></strong></p> <p>Ah.....Sweet Lorraine!</p> <p>Cette chanson de Cliff&nbsp;Burwell et Mitchell Parish est le d&eacute;part en 2015 d&#39;une&nbsp;rencontre musicale et amicale entre Gwen Ollivier, pianiste, et &Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri, chanteuse.&nbsp;</p> <p>Dans les coulisses d&#39;un festival Suisse, &Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri s&rsquo;arr&ecirc;te en entendant les notes au piano de &ldquo;Sweet Lorraine&rdquo;. Technicit&eacute;, passion, un sens inn&eacute; de&nbsp;l&rsquo;improvisation, toujours souriant et des yeux malicieux : Gwen Ollivier joue et elle tombe sous son charme.</p> <p>Lui est &eacute;mu par sa voix, la gr&acirc;ce et la determination qu&rsquo;elle d&eacute;gage et le bonheur qu&rsquo;elle transmet sur sc&egrave;ne.&nbsp;</p> <p>L&rsquo;&eacute;tincelle fait naitre l&#39;id&eacute;e de monter un groupe &agrave; Paris !&nbsp;</p> <p>Au duo se joint John Dufoss&eacute;, compositeur et contrebassiste &eacute;clectique (swing, musique tzigane, musique des balkans, reggae, rhythm and blues, cumbia...).&nbsp;Son s&eacute;rieux, sa pr&eacute;sence s&eacute;curisante, son flegme et l&rsquo;&eacute;tendue de sa connaissance musicale consolident le groupe.</p> <p>Lors d&rsquo;une tourn&eacute;e sur la C&ocirc;te d&rsquo;Azur, le trio enchante Elton John et la famille Beckham au complet.</p> <p>John permet la rencontre avec Etienne Favier, guitariste-chanteur de swing, de chanson fran&ccedil;aise et de blues. Ce dernier vouant une passion sans faille &agrave; Django Reinhardt distille cette influence dans leur r&eacute;pertoire jazz/swing et fran&ccedil;ais et ajoute une deuxi&egrave;me voix donnant l&rsquo;impulsion aux autres gentlemen de la bande de chanter eux aussi en harmonie.</p> <p>Ensemble ils sont invit&eacute;s &agrave; jouer au Ghana pour le Beaujolais Nouveau !</p> <p>Tant&ocirc;t duo, trio, quartet ou quintet&nbsp;(et m&ecirc;me parfois sextet avec saxophone),&nbsp;ils rendent hommage au Jazz, Swing et Rhythm and Blues am&eacute;ricain et &agrave; la Chanson Fran&ccedil;aise des ann&eacute;es 20 aux ann&eacute;es 50. Leur r&eacute;pertoire fran&ccedil;ais et anglais est r&eacute;solument r&eacute;tro. Cependant, la formation se balade parfois, revisitant des tubes plus r&eacute;cents. Les mains virevoltantes de Gwen improvisent aussi des rythmes cubains qui entra&icirc;nent le reste de la troupe et invitent le public &agrave; la danse.</p> <p>Ce savant m&eacute;lange de talents, de personnalit&eacute;s et d&rsquo;influences musicales produit sur sc&egrave;ne une dynamique pleine d&rsquo;&eacute;motions et d&rsquo;&eacute;l&eacute;gance que &Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri orchestre dans un feu d&rsquo;artifice de glamour.</p> <p><strong>En:</strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>Would you like to know more about us? Here it goes! :)</em></strong></p> <p>Ah...Sweet Lorraine!</p> <p>This song by Cliff Burwell and Mitchell Parish was the start&nbsp;of a musical and friendly encounter between&nbsp;Gwen Ollivier, pianist, and&nbsp;&Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri, singer.&nbsp;</p> <p>Backstage at a Swiss festival in 2015, &Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri froze when she heard&nbsp;the notes of &quot;Sweet Lorraine&rdquo; on a piano played with&nbsp;technical competence and&nbsp;incredible&nbsp;passion. Though with an innate sense of improvisation&nbsp;and&nbsp;always smiling&nbsp;mischievously, as&nbsp;Gwen played&nbsp;&Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri fell under his musical spell.</p> <p>Later, Gwen too was captivated! Moved by her voice, by the grace and determination of which&nbsp;she exudes and the joy she transmits on stage, a&nbsp;spark&nbsp;was ignited!</p> <p>They decided to put together a band in Paris!&nbsp;</p> <p>The duo is joined by&nbsp;John Dufoss&eacute;, a composer and an eclectic double bass player&nbsp;(Swing, Gypsy music, Balkan music, Reggae, Rhythm and Blues, Cumbia&hellip;). His reliability, his reassuring presence, his composure &amp;&nbsp;his&nbsp;extensive musical knowledge cement the band.&nbsp;During a tour on the French Riviera, the trio delights&nbsp;Elton John and the entire Beckham family.</p> <p>John brings the trio and&nbsp;Etienne Favier&nbsp;together.&nbsp;Etienne is a&nbsp;Swing/Chanson Fran&ccedil;aise/Blues guitarist-singer.&nbsp;Devoting an unfailing passion to Django Reinhardt, he distills this influence into their Jazz/Swing &amp; French repertoire.&nbsp;Moreover, Etienne adds a second singing voice giving impetus to the other gentlemen of the pack to sing in harmony too.&nbsp;</p> <p>Together they are invited to perform in Ghana&nbsp;for the Beaujolais Nouveau!&nbsp;</p> <p>Sometimes as a duo, a trio, a quartet or as a quintet&nbsp;(and even sometimes as a sextet with a saxophone player), they pay tribute to the American Jazz/Swing and Rhythm &amp; Blues and to the French Chanson from the 20s to the 50s.&nbsp;Their French and American repertoire is definitely retro.&nbsp;However, the combo sometimes veers and revisits the most recent hits.&nbsp;Gwen&#39;s twirling hands also improvise some&nbsp;Cuban rhythms&nbsp;that draw the rest of the ensemble and invite the audience to dance.</p> <p>This clever blend of talents, personalities and musical influences on stage&nbsp;creates&nbsp;a delightful and powerful energy full of emotions and elegance&nbsp;that &Ocirc; de mon Ch&eacute;ri orchestrates in a fireworks display of glamour.​</p>
