Pitchoutchoulex - New vinyl album

This is our last project (-or not-), in which we experiment with vinyl records. On this occasion, we will set into a disc the tracks that we previously performed only live, along with three other unpublished ones, making up a total of 6 tracks for an old-school maxi vinyl. Some unexpected guests will also join the party! And if this is to be our last recording, we will undoubtedly have to do it like bosses and guarantee the best record we ever created. One of our members lives in Parma, Italy, so recording there in a professional studio is the obvious choice. Thibault Chaumont from the DeviantLab, with whom we have already collaborated for the previous album, will handle the mix and mastering. When done, we will send the tracks to a vinyl factory in France. In reality, we could have recorded in a basement, using a laptop and producing vinyl discs in an eastern Europe factory. We won't, though, even if it could have been cost-effective. Although the digital version of the record will release at the end of 2023, the vinyl will be available during the first half of 2024. And so, with tears in your eyes, you can gaze at it, put it on by your fireplace, and think that beyond a musical adventure, this was, above all, a human adventure. Story of the Band It all started back in 2003 in Poitou Charentes (France), when Matthias and Lucas decided to immortalize their musical composition on a home-made recording soberly called "Vous avez dit indigeste?" in English "Did you say indigestible?" (a title that cannot be found in the CD whatsoever). The band was named Pitchoutchoulex, because stupid music needed a stupid name. We were supposed to leave it at that, but Colin Russeil, a third member, joined the band on drums, and ultimately we were able to play live. What followed? Krissssprolls, Monsterrrr Munch and other Pig Nestor got shared with the whole world (or at least around Parthenay). The tracks took on a whole new dimension when the band's first six titles demo was released in 2004, and they highlighted the band's full potential. Concerts continued, and a covert recording was released in 2006. The band energy was palpable, and the live tension made the BPM explode. In 2007, a sound school in Paris allowed the band to release the closest demo to an album, Kruxx Inside, which attested to the band's creativity, always under the indigestible rock banner, embellished by a blind improvisation in three parts. 2008 saw a whole auto-produced album, "The Emperor Likes The Special Food", released in 2009. Crazier and more professional than all the previous demos, the setlist brought three tracks with lyrics and many guests. A particularly warm welcome awaited it, sounding like the culmination of the project, the summit of a career, the high-point of a life. But were we really going to stop there? Almost.
