Sherlock 1789 is a humorous action series that features Watson and Sherlock Holmes in wacky and delirious investigations. The funds raised through this crowdfunding will be used to finance a 12 minute episode that will be shot in February 2023, in order to then find a production company to make all the episodes of the series. Sherlock Holmes is here a truculent, feisty, and whimsical private detective. Rather than travel to solve her cases herself, she stays at 221B Baker Street and sends a willing but inexperienced apprentice, Watson, into the field. The series will be shot in France, in Occitania, New Aquitaine, and Burgundy. Scenes and tests have already been shot in Cap-Ferret, Dijon, Aigues-Mortes. This series was imagined as a mix of Magnum P.I. and Hercule Poirot. Burlesque, an aesthetic influenced by comic books and a touch of surrealism will be present in each episode. The characters Professor Moriarty, Docteur Watson, Mycroft Holmes, Inspector Lestrad... the main characters created by Arthur Conan Doyle are back, and more crazy! Jocelyne Isaac plays the famous detective, with a rebellious and eccentric character. The Super Fish Studio Created in 1996, Le Super Fish Studio is a collective of graphic designers, cartoonists, directors, photographers, scriptwriters and actors. A good dose of humor often accompany the projects of this iconoclastic studio. The Super Fish Studios has directed an animated clip for the wonderful baroque singer Patricia Petibon, a political show for the television channel Public Sénat, crazy videos for the production company Com8, a clip with the great artist Jean Giraud Moebius, a short film with the Abbé Pierre foundation, an experimental medium-length film in New York.
