Renewaball is the world’s first circular tennis and padel ball. It is made from old tennis and padel balls collected from clubs across Europe. The rubber from these used balls is reused in the production of Renewaballs. The felt from the old balls, however, contains microplastics such as polyester and nylon, which can be inhaled during indoor play or end up in soil, rivers, and oceans during outdoor play. Renewaballs are made with 100% organic felt from the wool of European sheep. This wool is biodegradable, posing no health risks to humans or the environment. A Renewaball generates 29% less CO₂ emissions compared to a standard ball from major tennis and padel brands. Renewaball is B Corp certified.
The Renewaball team is made up of three founders: CEO Hélène Hoogeboom, COO Gunther van der Rijt, and CCO Marc Rouffaer. In addition to the founders, the team includes managers in a number of European countries, ensuring the growth and international development of Renewaball.
