<p>Louise and Alastair have discovered how to produce an eco-.friendly alternative to plastic food wrap.</p> <div class="k-ResponsiveIframeContainer"><iframe allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen="true" frameborder="0" height="281" scrolling="no" src="https://cdn.embedly.com/widgets/media.html?src=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fembed%2F7LtS40SkYZs%3Ffeature%3Doembed&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D7LtS40SkYZs&amp;image=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2F7LtS40SkYZs%2Fhqdefault.jpg&amp;key=cb39d84f05d8439bbe96012f078e02b0&amp;type=text%2Fhtml&amp;schema=youtube" width="500"></iframe></div> <p>Its made with love in the French Pyrenees with organic cotton, our own beeswax, organic Jojoba oil and Pine Resin.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We use only Hydroelectricty in the production of Embal&#39;Vert from one of the&nbsp;landowners where we keep our bees, who has a hydroelectric generator on the river Saison</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Embal&#39;vert is currently made in our kitchen, and we have now outgrown this and need a workshop to supply demand.</p> <p>We have an old barn dating from 1700 that will make a great workshop, and we have made a start on it but we need help to get it finished and kitted out.</p> <p>Each Embal&#39;Vert is currently made by hand, and Louise can&#39;t keep up!&nbsp; We need a custom made stainless steel roller system with a heated bath, so we can treat a whole roll of 50m in one go. This will save time, and allow us to make enough Embal&#39;Vert to really start making a difference in reducing plastic waste. for this we are looking to raise 8,020 euros</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Our dream is to have our own solar power stored on site in batteries and used to run the&nbsp;workshop and use this electricty to power&nbsp;an electric vehicle for deliveries and travel to and from exhibitions and markets.</p> <p>We are helping the&nbsp;Planet&nbsp;with our beekeeping,&nbsp;</p> <p>Please help us make more &#39;Embal&#39;Vert so we can help more.</p>

Allocation of funds

<p>I have to admit to being a complete beginner at crowd funding, and to some extent social media, so I have little idea how many people this appeal will reach, or how many people will be sympathetic enough with our aims, to help us. This is a very labour intensive operation, and we now can&rsquo;t keep up with demand like this</p> <p>We need a machine to automate this process. On the same land she has a hydroelectric station dating back to 1920...So all the electricity we use to make Embal&rsquo;VERT comes from Christine&rsquo;s hydroelectricity, brilliant!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>So, Embal&rsquo;VERT is produced with zero co2, or carbon neutrally.
