The US release had to go from cinemas to online and DVD. It's been a long and challenging journey, but the <strong>result </strong>is beyond expectations. While we are now waiting on a first Festival selection to present our baby to the world, a <strong>sales agent</strong> (<a href="http://www.urbandistrib.com/films/chichinette-how-i-accidentally-became-a-spy/" target="_blank">Urban Distribution</a>) and a <strong>German distributor </strong>(<a href="https://www.missingfilms.de/index.php/filme/10-filme-neu/287-chichinette" target="_blank">Missing Films</a>) are already attached to the project.  We will now start sending <strong>rewards </strong>as promised in our KissKissBankBank crowdfunding campain.  Some of you already have their <strong>names </strong>on the end credits and on the <a href="http://chichinette-film.com/impressum-1.html." target="_blank">official Website</a>. Others will soon receive a <strong>digital postcard</strong>, a <strong>DVD</strong>, a <strong>printed picture</strong>or even an <strong>original image</strong> by Aline Helmcke, used in the film.  We take this opportunity to <strong>thank you </strong>again for your <strong>support</strong>. Their mission is to get the film in many interesting festivals, to find national distributors who will be interested in releasing the film in their country and to sell the film to TVs and platforms.</p> <p><a href="https://www.haifaff.co.il/eng/Films/6207/Chichinette_-_How_I_Accidentally_Became_a_Spy_%7C_Chichinette_-_Wie_ich_zuf%C3%A4llig_Spionin_wurde">WORLD PREMIERE IN HAIFA</a> (ISRAEL) – 13/10/2019</p> <p><img alt="Marthe_haifa-1573061311" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/629327/marthe_haifa-1573061311.jpg"></p> <p>The film premiered at the 35th HAIFA International Film Festival, in the presence of Marthe Cohn and her husband, as well as the director Nicola Hens and the producer Amos Geva.</p> <p>The screening was sold out and the discussion following the film was very intense.</p> <p>“Chichinette” received a Special Mention from the Jury and the national news <a href="https://www.facebook.com/kan.news/videos/vb.220634478361516/2336880119960641/?type=2&amp;theater">broadcasted a report</a> on Marthe and the film.</p> <p><a href="https://www.screendaily.com/news/kino-lorber-takes-us-rights-to-doc-chichinette-how-i-accidentally-became-a-spy-exclusive/5144164.article">SCREEN INTERNATIONAL</a> revealed recently that the film has been sold to US (Kino Lorber), the UK (Signature), Hungary (Cirko) and France (Urban Distribution).&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img alt="France-1573063978" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/629338/France-1573063978.jpg"></p> <p><a href="http://www.urbandistribution.fr/films/chichinette-ma-vie-despionne/">“Chichinette – ma vie d’espionne”</a>, that’s the title for the French release which started on Octobre the 30th. Marthe and Major were present for screenings in Metz, Paris and soon Poitiers, Blois, Bordeaux, Marseille, Toulouse, Strasbourg. It was also shown in Frankfurt, at the Judische Kulturwochen.
