Baouli Ocean Adventures

Baouli Ocean Adventures was born of a deep-seated desire to share the treasures of nature that I know so well. I've travelled to many countries, but I was won over by the beauty and environmental conservation values of Costa Rica. Since my childhood in Africa, I've always lived in the great outdoors, in contact with wild animals. I've been sailing since I was very young, and I'm guided by the desire to transmit simple but fundamental emotions to the deepest recesses of people's hearts. In a standardised and materialistic ocean, Baouli is a small boat full of humanity, freedom, heart and passion, sailing with the sole desire to distil happiness in the heart of the unspoilt nature of Playas del Coco in Costa Rica. You don't always realise how much you have to believe in your dreams to create such an adventure from almost nothing. Leaving one country for another, imagining this little boat and the unique experiences that will one day be shared on board, finding this boat, bringing it back to life, setting sail and realising that what had been a dream would become reality. The Gulf of Papagayo is located in the province of Guanacaste in Costa Rica. Surrounded by national parks, it offers lush, unspoilt marine and terrestrial nature. You'll come across many species of dolphin, turtle, whale, crocodile, manta ray, marlin, sailfish, monkey, koati and a wide variety of seabirds. It was in this unique environment and amongst a lively, welcoming and nature-oriented community that our project was born. With a lot of hard work and countless hours, we brought an old boat back to life and gave birth to Baouli Ocean adventures. With great pride shared with my crew, our boat set sail for extraordinary adventures. From day one, Baouli Ocean Adventures has been committed to offering a genuine, passionate experience that respects the environment and local development in the Gulf of Papagayo. And all I can tell you is that we gave out happiness from the bottom of our hearts almost every day for a year. Unfortunately, the professional and human successes we achieved were brutally shattered by malicious acts: The boat was sabotaged by individuals Several phones and computers hacked Our social networks hijacked and stolen (facebook/Instagram/trip advisor) The consequences of these acts have been devastating for our business and the lives of our families. With no tools, no resources and psychologically damaged, we had to give up for 7 months and quite honestly I almost gave up. But I believe in my dreams and life has taught me resilience in other circumstances. No, there will be no giving up! But we do need you! So why save Baouli Ocean Adventures? Because Baouli is first and foremost a human project designed to generate happiness! Because we need to bring life back to the boat, its crew and their families!
