Beirut and Beyond - 10 years compilation

Help us make this magnificent adventure possible So many soundscapes resonate in this compilation, making it a rich & dynamic musical experience. This is your chance to fully appreciate the musical richness of the current Lebanese scene! From hip hop to dreamy folk, from electronic music to melodic pop. Bridging the gap between genres, this release seeks to play its part in breaking boundaries and bringing together a community of artists who are passionate about their art. Thank you <3 Up to now, Beirut and Beyond and balcoon have covered all production expenses for this compilation including artists transport, commission fees for artists, recording sessions in Beirut, mixing & mastering fees in France, artwork by visual artist Sama Beydoun. Thanks to the support of the Norwegian Embassy in Beirut and AFAC, the recording of this compilation as part of a modified second edition of the Musicians Support Program, took place in the heart of Beirut at Tunefork Studios. To finalize the project we still need to finance the vinyl pressing, the videos & promotional material that will be shared on social networks, as well as event-type formats to encourage exchanges with the public throughout events in London, Paris, Berlin and Brussels where the Vinyl would be available for sale and where some of the artists could also perform. These events will draw attention to the release of the record and to the artists involved! Finally, to maximise the impact of the project and ensure that it helps each artist as much as possible, we would like to hire a promotional team including two PR companies, one for the Arab & International media, and one for the French speaking territorries.
