BOUIBOUI SHOP, opening of a cosmopolitan foodie space in San Sebastián

COSMOPOLITAN (feminine/masculine noun): Who considers himself/herself a citizen of the world; who willingly turns himself/herself to everything that is foreign. Who lives sometimes in one country, sometimes in another, adapting to the customs of each place. The project Bouiboui Shop will be a multidisciplinary and cosmopolitan space. Perched on the shelves, edible curiosities, drinks for young and elderly, antique tableware but also bouquets of dried flowers. You will find artisanal products, respectful of the environment, naturally good but also attractive packaging from different horizons. From the shelf to the plate, there is only one arm! Just like home, all you have to do is stretch out your hand to grab a can of octopus. To be enjoyed directly on the spot while sipping a good glass of Txakoli. It's magic, everything you find in store can be devoured right away. We will see people antiquing & snacking from morning to evening. It will also be possible to take the findings home or select them online for home delivery. Who is hiding behind Bouiboui Shop? Originally the Bouiboui is a small local restaurant that doesn't look great at first sight but when you start to dig in, in reality it's full of unexpected treasures. My name is Nhu, last September I left my job in a creative agency to become a full-time grocer. Collaborating with passionate producers and discovering new products motivated me to change my life despite the hard times! I want to create a cosmopolitan place where you feel good. Why am I so attached to the word cosmopolitan? It's my identity and that of my deli-bar shop. Born in Toulouse to Vietnamese parents, I wandered around London for a few years. I finally landed in San Sebastián, the city known for its beautiful gastronomy. With this project, I simply want to collect my findings and share them in one place: Bouiboui Shop!
