The project in a few words

Faced with the coronavirus epidemic, regional artists have come together to create a unique and numbered book entitled "Coron [ART] virus", the benefits of which will be donated to the Institut Pasteur and the Lille University Hospital.

Through short portraits, we will give voice to Lille people who will share with readers their stories, their visions of this unprecedented health crisis.

On the other hand, the Lille artists will create original works illustrating their artistic vision of this epidemic.

We are all going through a difficult period that will go down in the history of the 21st century. Solidarity and mutual aid will allow everyone to get out of this crisis unprecedented in the history of our society.

"This quarantine is an incredible opportunity to give meaning to our life, to the quintessence of our art ... Our duty is to support the health organizations of our country".

Creator and origins of the project

ISSI Magazine is a free fashion and lifestyle magazine in Lille created 6 years ago. Passionate about Contemporary Art, each year we dedicate a special issue to the contemporary art fair Art Up !. Unfortunately, this year the fair was canceled due to the Covid-19 epidemic, much to the regret of artists, gallery owners and visitors.

Art has always united, united and supported great causes.

We thus proposed this project to many Lille artists, who all responded favorably with great enthusiasm: "this forties is an incredible opportunity to give meaning to our life, to the quintessence of our art ... Our duty is to support the health organizations of our country ”.

The objectives are simple: to collect as much money as possible for health organizations. Together, we can fight this virus. Together, we can heal lives!

The project in detail

Many of you want to support caregivers, hospitals and research for a vaccine. At our level, we also wanted to make ourselves useful and make our resources available to support institutions and citizens.

Being a professional in the publishing world, the idea of creating an Art Book seemed relevant to us to generate profits and donate them to the Institut Pasteur and the Lille University Hospital. In unison, regional artists support us in this process to contribute to this great fundraising.

The objectives are simple: to collect as much money as possible for health organizations. Together, we can fight this virus. Together, we can heal lives!

By supporting this project and this book, you are helping people, helping health workers, and healing lives!

Our minimum target is to pre-sell 500 pounds. As soon as the objective is reached, we will immediately donate the profits collected to L’institut Pasteur and the Lille University Hospital. The sooner we reach the goal, the sooner we can get it to the benefit of health organizations that need it more than ever. The more books we sell, the more our solidarity will help save lives.

Considerations and the role of contributors

You can support the project in 3 different ways:

2 ° - 40 € for the book Coron [ART] virus + a small numbered and signed reproduction of a work by an artist
3 ° - 50 € for the book + A reproduction + a dedication by the artist of your choice + "Thank you" with your name on the contributors page.
We will give you the choice to come and collect your counterpart in Lille or send it by post after confinement.
