Our story For the past 3 years, we've been cooking Mexican food for you at our summer evenings and for your private events (themed birthdays) in an authentic Mexican atmosphere; colorful and festive. The lucky ones who have already tasted our cuisine love it! Many of them recommend us to their friends and family. Since then, our work rhythm has adapted: making chocolate and roasting Mexican coffee during the week, and on weekends, it's all about the flavors and colors of Mexico! The food truck trailer has become essential for us to continue offering you this service, more professionally and practically. We will no longer be restricted to preparing our specialties on-site, on our summer terrace. Thanks to the food truck, we will offer this service wherever you want! We will come to meet you throughout the year. You can privatize the food truck for your family, friends, or professional events, and/or order these flavors to take home! This summer, we will be present every Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime in our terrace garden at the chocolate shop. Reservations are mandatory to welcome you in excellent conditions. Maryline and Joshue (aka "Cheyenne"), a Franco-Mexican couple with a mission: to introduce you to the culinary culture of Mexico, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!" Back in France from Mexico 6 years ago, we started with the creation of soluble discs for hot chocolate in the Mexican style; raw and natural. Following demand, we delved our product deeper into chocolate making to offer a wider range of products such as chocolate bars, chips, caramelized cocoa beans, and more. We increasingly innovate in our creations and products, offering various workshops and interactive tastings to satisfy both kids and adults. A few years later, we learned to roast coffee beans imported from renowned regions of Mexico; Oaxaca, Veracruz, Chiapas, and Puebla. We've set up the roasting workshop in the shop that you can visit to taste our coffees. Since 2020, we've been cooking authentic Mexican flavors - tacos, quesadillas, huaraches, and other culinary specialties - at our summer evenings and events in Bligny-sur-Ouche. With the food truck, we aim to continue this adventure at the location of your events. Our small Mexican cultural center is unique in the Ouche and Auxois valley. Come discover it for yourself! Our Cuisine We freshly make our organic Mexican corn tortillas every day using our tortilla machine imported from Mexico. Different varieties of ancient corn are available. The tortilla serves as the base for our tacos. You can also purchase our fresh vacuum-sealed tortillas to take away and enjoy making your own tacos at home! Our cuisine (marinades, sauces, tortillas...) is homemade, and we use as many fresh and local products as possible - vegetables, meat, and even fresh peppers come from France! Regarding more exotic ingredients, the cactus comes from Spain and the corn flour from Mexico. The taco fillings are traditional recipes, also available in vegetarian versions and in a Franco-Mexican fusion style, depending on Cheyenne's inspiration.
