    A chavoche "rennaissance"!

    €65

    • 12 contributions
After the success of the first batch of 'renaissance' chavoches, I'm launching a new production! The chavoches will be made in a traditional potter's workshop in Neuvy-Deux-Clochers, using ancestral techniques that have traversed the centuries. Fired in a wood-fired kiln at 1300°C, these ‘renaissance’ chavoches are directly inspired by the originals. As in the olded days, the chavoches will be made during the long winter evenings, around the wood-burning stove. Each of these symbolic objects will have its own story to tell through its unique song, which will be revealed in spring... + 6 postcards of the Talbot-Lamotte kiln and the chavoches + An invitation to the inauguration of Les Chavoches, in the presence of Marie-Claire Frédéric

Weekend workshop: Design your Forest-Garden at Les Chavoches

    €195

Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March 2025 Join us for a spring weekend to explore the exciting concept of forest gardening! Whether you have a small balcony, community garden, or a larger plot, this workshop will introduce you to the techniques of creating a self-sustaining, biodiverse garden inspired by the natural resilience of forests. A forest garden, also known as a food forest, is a layered, productive garden filled with perennial plants, trees, shrubs, and fungi that support both human needs (food, medicine, materials) and local biodiversity. This workshop, led by Charles Mignon of Les Blaireautins Forest Garden, uses the future forest garden at Les Chavoches as a practical case study. Highlights include: • Guided Forest Walk: Learn about plant guilds, biodiversity, and natural plant associations. • Forest Garden Design: Hands-on planning for establishing your forest garden. • Individual Project Work: Personalized guidance to start or improve your own forest garden. • A country-style lunch where you can taste the products of the fermentary! This weekend is a unique opportunity to dive into agroecology and permaculture with a seasoned expert. Minimum 2, maximum 8 places
