MA- gives you the opportunity to dress with unique pieces, cut by our hands and created in collaboration with artisans from around the world in organic fabric.

Each year, 2 collections will be made in collaboration with the artisans from one country, that we will have chosen for its beautiful know-how.

We create with them clothes with soul, that have a purpose, to tell a story, their story.

For each collection, we will relate the story of all the collaborators by narratives videos.

MA- commits to human fabrication in total transparency.

How the project grew

We met at Duperré, the Superior school of Art Appliqué.

Our creative intuition were really similar, and we started working together from the beginning.

After our Master, Fashion Womenswear at the Central Saint Martins for Ava and Image Media and Video Photo at Duperré for Mathieu, we realized that we didn’t want to work for the industry of fashion luxury.

After our different internship in this industry, we saw how the creative system lost all its purpose in its crazy production. This revolted us.

"We wanted to work with arts and crafts, meet the artisans, make these know-how remains."

So We created MA, to give an alternative.

Define a strong fashion idea and ethical. We want to put a better vision of the world in our creations, respectful of the environment and about human.

Our first trip in Gujarat in India drived us to discover the cradle of arts and crafts techniques in the world.

After this trip, we settled the beginning of the project. We met actor of ethical fashion and social and solidairity economy that inspired us.

MA will produce in France. The clothes will be made by vulnerable people in insertion workshop, we will teach them our couture techniques, to share the french know-how.

We developed the first samples with the artisans in India

To continu the project we need YOU to go to India for the SECOND TIME, in the textile arts crafts region, the Gujarat.

During this trip we will film each step of the creative process as well as the production, to highlight each artisans and their story.

This artistic content will illustrate our experience and values, a sensitive creation, towards human.
