Police et paysages

<blockquote> Police and Landscapes is a uncommon photographic journey amidst the worlds of maintenance of order versus resistance. The book explores and questions the increasing militarization of our society and of our lives through a hundred photos taken between 2012 and 2018, in the hedge groves of Notre-Dame-des-Landes and the streets of Nantes (France). </blockquote> <img alt="" src="https://d3v4jsc54141g1.cloudfront.net/uploads/project_image/image/563195/88_Police_paysages_17-05-2018-1546907617.jpg" width="100%" />     <h3>&diams; The photographer</h3> Yves Monteil is a photographer from Nantes. For more than ten years, he has and continues to be productive in various photographic spheres, notably as assistant photographer as well as documentary photographer.   <h3>&diams; The providing association </h3> The association Les Ateliers Boh’m was created in 2016 by Claire Leleu and Yves Monteil. Claire works in book editing and Yves is a photographer. Both have a passion for the visual in all it forms, for words, textures, volumes and contrasts. To edit photographic and literary works, merging both, and taking into account our artistic sensibility, is the Ateliers’ signature. Police and Landscapes is our first self published book.   <h3>&diams; The book</h3> We decided to self publish to guarantee our total creative freedom, in both editing and selecting the photos. Allocation of funds

<h3>&diams; Pre-sale</h3> This method will allow us to evaluate the public interest and therefore be able to adjust the printing numbers of copies, to facilitate its distribution. The proceeds will finance the treatment of the photos, the graphic creation, the printing and binding of the book. The Ateliers Boh’m will receive the total of the proceeds. As of today, if we can pre-sale a minimum of 250 copies, we will be certain of the publication of Police and Landscapes for the spring of 2019.
