What is the use of this fund raising ?

Starting a restaurant requires substantial investment. The funds will be used to finance the layout of both the kitchen and the reception hall.

First expenses:

Rent, charges, insurances, internet access, wages, air cooling, cameras , shutters.

Creation of the Kitchen:

Professional equipment such as food processors, blenders, juicers, waffle irons, fridges , freezers, ovens, ustensils, dishwashers, washing machines.Food stock.

Space layout:

Furniture, decoration and design, advertising.

"MAISON BONHEUR" will have the legal status of an association " MAISON BONHEUR association"

The orphanage social workers as well as other women in dire straits will work in turn in the kitchen. Youngsters will contribute to the success of this enterprise by participating to service which will train them into catering jobs and most of all keep them busy in their free time thus discourage them from doing silly things. So as to make them propose good quality work , tips will be instaured. Giving them hope ,reading in their eyes that they can think of a decent future remains the main objective of this project.

I will always be present to check on the good management of " MAISON BONHEUR "

" MAISON BONHEUR" will be able to :

Hire a male social worker : at the moment , the orphanage does not have any male employee. The orphanage comes across great difficulties in the handling of teenagers who are very often left alone . " MAISON BONHEUR" will create a job for a male social worker who will wok from 8 o'clock P.M until the morning when the female social workers start their job . He will be able to check that all teenagers are well in the orphanage before the night , he will share dinners with the youngsters and impose decent rules in the boarding house .

Finance medical care:

Healthcare is deficient in Morocco, for the poorest, it is completely impossible. "MAISON BONHEUR" will check on the organisation of regular visits to the doctors' in order to check children's growth as well as the prevention of some diseases. Meetings with healthcare professionnals will be organised so as to inform yougsters to the risks of sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS but also to inform them about daily hygiene.

Finance sport and culture:

Practising sport is a good means of gaining in self-confidence, becoming able to make decisions, develop a team spirit , mutual help, socializing but also re-education for those suffering from handicaps.

Finance the purchase of pedagogic materials:

" MAISON BONHEUR" will purchase school things,sport equipement and cultural material

Professional studies:

Nowadays, Moroccan children have a dim future. Indeed, they often drop school as early as the end of elementary school and they do not pass any degree.

" MAISON BONHEUR" home will be able to finance specific professional studies in accordance with the youngsters' profiles. For those who intend to follow their studies after their a levels, at the moment, they are only provided with a monthly grant of 90$

At the moment we have , in the orphonage, a student who is taking his bachelor in journalism but cannot afford to start a Master's degree for lack of money. Can we let him down ? when thinking about his past experiences? this is just unbearable!!!

In the future , " MAISON BONHEUR" will be able to organise a through School monitaring for the next generation and most of all an appropriate professional orientation.

Creation of dwelling:

When youngsters leave home to work in other places , when they are in training sessions away from home, they often wish to come back to their home town during the school holidays but for lack of space , they cannot. " MAISON BONHEUR" would offer them a temporary home in the city of Taroudant.

Tutoring:

80% of Moroccan schools are private and unfortunately , state public schools have very low standards . Children need tutoring and some should benefit private lessons. " MAISON BONHEUR" will be able to finance private schools fees , tutoring and private lessons. It will , then , participate to the children's professional orientation.

Fermale social workers at the orphanage will also be able to benefit this tutoring in order to improve their knowledge and then help the children in turn.
