In a few words: After several months of reflection and design, I've reached the final stage in the creation of my digital craft workshop. Now, more than ever, I need your help to make my project a reality. It's more than a simple request for funding, it's a collaboration with you that I hope to start with this initiative. My project: Wanting to find meaning in my work, I left my job as a digital project manager in the pharmaceutical industry in 2022 to reconnect with matter and create innovative objects and forms. I am able to approach this craft in a new way, enriching traditional practices with contemporary craftmanship, thanks to my knowledge of digital technologies for 3D production and printing, as well as electronics. It was only natural that my interest turned to ceramics, the first art of fire, and after practicing in a studio, I'm now ready to open my own workshop to create ceramics. I love finding solutions to specific technical problems. Once I have conceived and designed a model, my approach is scientific: I design, model, test and adapt my creations with great attention to detail. I'd like to put my craftmanship at the disposal of individuals, but also of designers and companies looking for customisation. My first pieces will be small: mugs, cups, ambient lamps... before considering larger formats. I plan to create collections in small series, original and seasonal. Anchored in my time, it is with an eco-responsible eye that I consider every step of the way. From the choice of the vegetable resin to the optimal recycling of the different materials used (pieces of clay and unfired slip cast, plaster, silicone, water, IPA alcohol), I take great care to conscientiously minimise the production of waste in the creative process. Progress of the project I've just finished setting up a workshop in Maisons-Alfort at Paris's doors. Several models are ready for production. Now, more than ever, I need your help to buy a pottery kiln and the materials I need to be completely independent in my production.
