For 10 years now, ABB reportages has been working to bring Tango (Music, Movement, Dance and Social interaction) to the elderly.

A sequence of training, workshops, research protocols and audio-visuals are used to provide and communicate an improvement in motor and cognitive functions that Science confirms.

At the time of Covid19 and of restrictions of visits in retirement homes (EHPAD), ABB Reportages, in conjunction with the University of Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Inserm, continues to deploy a real weapon against the isolation of the elderly: the ONLINE Tango workshops and the INTERACTIVE ONLINE Tango workshops.

A concept and three women

Starting at the Artistic Residence of La Prée, thanks to an invitation from Agnès Desjobert, director of the association “Pour que L'Esprit Vive”,

communicated through the documentary "The Melody of Alzheimer's",

The project "The Caravan of Memory" has been set up in France in about thirty places, then in seven other countries…

What are the objectives?

What does FACE to FACE Tango stand for?

It's a couple (musician and dancer) who come to the elderly with the mission of making them sing, move, dance, smile and Live.

This work is done respecting therapeutic Tango, initiated by Rodolfo Dinzel, in Argentina. Rodolfo was the first to introduce this dance to patients and seniors suffering from neuroevolutionary disorders.

All the animators are trained in this specific Tango by dancers-tangotherapists, who were themselves trained by Rodolfo Dinzel. The training is re-transmitted to all those who want to work using this method, once a year, at the University of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, via the SEFCA.

Listening to others, searching for body weight, gliding, connection, freedom, improvisation are the vectors of this revolutionary teaching.

In the current context of a sanitary crisis, during Face to Face interventions, health precautions are respected: ventilation of the premises, use of hydro-alcoholic gel, wearing a mask, respect for a distance of one meter between each participant, and no contact between them.

Singing, moving, dancing ...

it's possible in one way or another!

Thus, the workshops are set up with seniors, with a different frequency according to each case and the possibilities.

In many places, the project is monitored by a team of researchers supervised by France Mourey (Inserm 1093).

See, for example, the workshops introduced FACE to FACE, in San Francisco, at the Rosener House Day Center, where they are now followed ONLINE.

At the beginning of 2020, as soon as the lockdown in the retirement homes was announced, the team decided to invent a new way to reach the elderly as quickly as possible, as the epidemic was plunging them into loneliness, anxiety and sadness.

That is how, all the – now teleworking – actors of the project, musicians, dancers, physiotherapists, doctors, researchers, their husbands who improvised as cameramen, invented Tango ONLINE for seniors.

What does ONLINE Tango stand for?

Every other month, the workshop reaches the retirement home through a newsletter.

Each ONLINE workshop is a recreation; movement and dance of 25 minutes or in 5 minutes increments, according to what is chosen in a playlist (6 possible choices).

15 training sessions, 292 FACE to FACE workshops were scheduled,

What does INTERACTIVE ONLINE Tango stand for?

Whilst keeping on increasing the face to face and online Tango workshops, the team decided to launch another stage.

Building on the previous experiences, in order to respond to the desire of seniors to sing, move, dance, and to respond to the second wave of coronavirus, the team proposes in 2021 … INTERACTIVE ONLINE Tango!

INTERACTIVE ONLINE Tango is a pedagogical project in 6 parts, which will prepare the return to FACE to FACE sessions.

Thomas Poucet, representative in France of the Dinzel System, accompanied by the Tango singer Sylvana Yustino, will give 6 live lessons, which can be followed from the retirement homes via a ZOOM, TEAMS or JITSI platform.

In a logical and progressive way, the basis of Tango Dinzel are thus transmitted to the elders, who then reproduce the movements, guided by the dancers who can correct them and exchange ...

For each course there is only one retirement home.

Real bases of a method, the workshops will be filmed and edited in order to be shared with other retirement homes.

Also, translated into English or Spanish, the Interactive Online Tango will be able to be taken to the 7 countries where the Online Tango project already exists.

This new tool will allow the implementation of a monitored pedagogical method, with gradual progress in the difficulty, as the workshops are scheduled and set up.

Alongside the recreation that Online Tango represents, this is the arrival of a real learning tool for study, mobilisation and research.

Music, Movement and Tango in retirement homes, even in times of a health crisis, it remains possible!

The budget

The overall budget for the continuation of the project is 90,000€, which includes:

The continuation of the production of the ONLINE workshops, for which 25,000€ is needed.
The launch of the INTERACTIVE ONLINE workshops, and the creation of the method in 6 workshops which requires 65,000€.

ABB Reportages and Les Amis du 7 are co-producers of the project; and several foundations have been solicited.

What we are missing:

The call for donations of €10,000 and more will allow to continue the financing of the Online Tango workshops, but will also be a starting point in the launch of the Interactive Online workshops. This includes, for instance, the fees for the dancers and musicians and the production of the audio-visual material.

If the collection exceeds its target, more workshops and more people will be reached!

¿TANGO EN LÍNEA PARA PERSONAS MAYORES?

ABB Reportages lleva 10 años trabajando para acercar el Tango (Música, Movimiento, Danza, y Conexión Social) a las personas mayores.

Formaciones, talleres, protocolos de investigación y audiovisuales concatenados para contribuir y dar a conocer la mejoría de funciones motoras y cognitivas las cuales son confirmadas por la ciencia.

A la llegada del Covid19 y las restricciones de distanciamiento social y circulación en los establecimientos, ABB Reportages, junto con la Universidad de Borgoña-Franche-Comté y el Inserm, continúan desplegando un arma real contra el aislamiento de las personas mayores: Talleres de Tango EN LÍNEA y Talleres INTERACTIVOS de Tango EN LÍNEA.

Un concepto y tres mujeres

Nacido en la Residencia Artística de la Prée, gracias a la invitación de Agnès Desjobert, directora de la asociación “Pour que L’Esprit Vive”; y dado a conocer a través del documental “La melodía del Alzheimer”, el proyecto “La Caravana de la Memoria” se ha desarrollado en Francia en una treintena de lugares para después expandirse a otros siete países…

Los objetivos

¿Qué es un taller presencial?

Una pareja (música y bailarín) que van con las personas mayores para hacerlos cantar, moverse, bailar, sonreír y vivir.
Este trabajo se realiza con relación al Tango terapéutico, creado por Rodolfo Dinzel, en Argentina. Rodolfo fuer el primero en introducir esta danza a pacientes y personas mayores que padecen trastornos neuro-evolutivos.
Todos los interventores son formados, en este método específico de Tango, por los bailarines-tango terapeutas, quienes han sido directamente formados por Rodolfo Dinzel. La formación se retransmite a todos aquellos que quieran trabajar de acuerdo con este método, una vez al año, en la Universidad de Borgoña-Franche-Comté, a través del Servicio Común de Formación Continua y de alternancia (SEFCA).
La escucha del otro, búsqueda del peso corporal, deslizamiento, conexión, libertad e improvisación, son los vectores de esta enseñanza revolucionaria.

En el contexto actual de crisis sanitaria, durante las intervenciones presenciales, se respetan las precauciones sanitarias: ventilación de los lugares, utilización de gel hidro-alcohólico, uso de cubre bocas, respetando una distancia de un metro y medio entre cada participante y ningún contacto físico entre ellos.

Cantar, moverse, bailar…
¡Es posible de una forma u otra!

Así, los talleres se configuran con las personas mayores, con una regularidad diferente según el caso y las posibilidades.
En muchos lugares, el proyecto es vigilado por el equipo de investigadores a cargo de France Mourey (Inserm 1093).
Aquí un ejemplo de los talleres en PRESENCIAL en San Francisco, en el centro de día Rosener House, en donde actualmente también siguen los Talleres en LÍNEA.

A principios de 2020, apenas se anunció el confinamiento en las hogares de ancianos, el equipo decidió innovar en forma de llegar, lo más rápido posible, a los ancianos sumidos en la soledad, la ansiedad y tristeza a causa de la epidemia.
Todos los involucrados en el proyecto, trabajando desde casa, músicos, bailarines, fisioterapeutas, médicos, investigadores y los maridos improvisando como camarógrafos inventaron el Tango en LÍNEA para personas mayores.

¿Qué es un Taller en LÍNEA ?

Cada mes un taller llega, a los hogares de hancianos, EHPAD, integrado en un boletín electrónico.
Cada taller en LÍNEA es un momento de recreación, movimiento y baile de una duración de 25 minutos.

¿Qué es el Tango INTERACTIVO EN LÍNEA?

Al mismo tiempo que continuamos desplegando los Talleres presenciales y el Tango en línea, el equipo a decidido, paralelamente, desarrollar una nueva etapa.
Para satisfacer el deseo de las personas mayores de cantar, moverse, bailar; apoyándonos de las dos experiencias precedentes, y como respuesta a la segunda ola de coronavirus el equipo propone en 2021… ¡EL Tango INTERACTIVO EN LÍNEA!
El Tango INTERCTIVO EN LÍNEA es un proyecto pedagógico en 6 partes, con el fin de prepararnos mejor para el regreso en persona.
Thomas Poucet, representante en Francia del Sistema Dinzel, acompañado de la cantante de Tango Sylvana Yustino, impartirán 6 lecciones en vivo, que podrán seguir desde los EHPAD a través de una plataforma ya sea ZOOM, TEAMS o JITSI.
De manera lógica y paulatina, los fundamentos del Tango Dinzel se transmiten a las personas mayores, quienes, desde sus hogares, repiten los movimientos, guiados por los bailarines quienes pueden corregirlos y compartir ideas…

Delante de cada curso, un solo EHPAD.
Los talleres, base de un método, serán filmados y editados para ser compartidos con otros EHPAD.

Asimismo, traducidos al inglés y al español, el Tango Interactivo en línea podrá llegar a los mismos destinos que el Tango el línea en 7 países en donde el proyecto ya está establecido.
Esta nueva herramienta permitirá la implementación de un método pedagógico estructurado, progresando según las dificultades a medida que se programan los talleres.
Junto a la recreación que constituye el Tango en LÍNEA, llaga a los hogares de las personas mayores una herramienta de aprendizaje, movilización y estudio.

Música, Movimiento y Tango, en los EHPAD incluso en tiempos de crisis sanitaria, ¡Es posible!

El presupuesto

El presupuesto global para la continuación del proyecto es de 90,000 euros, que incluye:

La continuación de la producción de los talleres de Tango en LÍNEA, para lo que aún faltan 25,000 euros
El lanzamiento de talleres INTERACTIVOS EN LÍNEA, y la creación del método de 6 talleres que requieren 65,000 euros.

ABB Reportages y Les Amis du 7 son coporductores dell proyecto, y se ha solicitado a varias fundaciones.

Lo que nos hace falta:
