"Lovers" is the visual and musical story of two hearts trying to reach out to each other. A story of love and solitude. A surrealist fantasy combining dance, visual poetry and artistic performance. </p>

The film will be directed by rising photographer <a href="http://www.laurabonnefous.com" target="_blank">Laura Bonnefous</a> in january 2017 and released on the website of prestigious fashion magazine <em><a href="http://numero.com/fr" target="_blank">Numéro</a></em>. "Lovers" is co-produced by <a href="https://www.facebook.com/mommyproduction/" target="_blank">Mommy Production</a> and <a href="http://www.weare-paris.com" target="_blank">We Are Paris</a> that will receive and manage the funds if the collect is successful. </p>

<strong>Laura Bonnefous, Director</strong></p>
<p>
<a href="http://www.laurabonnefous.com" target="_blank">Laura</a> is a rising fashion photographer, located in Paris. Her style is based on a sculptural approach to photography, creating abstract, surrealist and colored spaces. Her images are both strong and purified, inventing new mythologies that combine fashion and artistic performance. She has realized several covers for <a href="http://www.stylist.fr" target="_blank">Stylist</a>, won the <a href="http://www.picto.fr/2015/laura-bonnefous-laureate-du-prix-picto-de-la-jeune-photographie-2015/" target="_blank">Picto prize</a> and has been awarded by Club des DA. <p>
Under his stage name <a href="https://soundcloud.com/athwartship" target="_blank">Athwartship</a> Julien has released a dozen tracks, 1 EP, and produced songs for celebrated brands such as <em>Longines</em>, <em><a href="https://vimeo.com/107942284" target="_blank">Elie Saab</a></em> and <em><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIav-aYzVAY" target="_blank">Palais de Tokyo</a></em>. His encounter with Laura Bonnefous spearheaded this project. <strong>Because Laura Bonnefous is amazingly talented</strong> and deserves a breakthrough, and because we have a fantastic team that will ensure the project is a success.</p>

<strong>But most of all: because we can't do it without you !</strong></p>

<p>
The decor (2 rooms of 4m high) will be built and painted especially for the movie. Unique furniture and dresses are being made for the film. We have 2 trucks each loaded with 30 cubic meters of lighting and shooting equipment. The actors are professional dancers. We shoot in fully equipped 480sqm studio. <strong>All of this ensures the beauty of the film, but it comes with a price.</strong></p>

<p>
Even though most of our friends working on the project are doing it for free because they're passionate about it, <strong>we'll have to spend nearly 15.000€ for the film</strong> (which is still a tiny fraction of its actual cost, about 100K€ if we take into account everything we get for free) More than 30 persons are working on the film and some of them have to be paid!</p>

Zero concession has been made on Laura's creative vision and pursuit of visual excellence. The film will be stunningly beautiful but we need your help to make it happen!</p>
<p>

<p>
As you can see, <strong>the campaign goal is only 50% of the actual budget of the film</strong>, to maximise our chances to raise our crowdfunding goal within a short period. Our production company, We Are Paris, will make its best to pay for additional expenses but the more we get from the campaign, the less we have to compromise, the more we can ensure everything is perfect, invest in the post-production, and promote the film.</p>
