I have to record the album at home first to polish the arrangements, and show up at the studio with tracks Jim, my drummer, will be able to play on. </p>

It's a 9 hours a day job...</p>

Jim is my roommate. But also a great jazz drummer that has more than 20 years of touring behind him...</p>

We rehearsed once, and he got all the 18 songs perfectly in an hour. He is a striker for sure. Very impressive.</p>
