Après plusieurs années de collaboration, les musiciens de Zorba se décident à enregistrer une première trace de leur musique. Un EP 5 titres qui sortira d'ici la fin de l'année 2015.

Le groupe se compose de Gweltaz Lintanf à l'accordéon (Eien, Klaxax), Rémi Bouguennec à la flûte traversière en bois (Nâtah, Kerlutin), Kevin le Pennec au cistre (Menguy / Le Pennec, skyfleet, cut the alligator...) et Hugues Lassere à la contrebasse (Opus swing trio, Samuel le Henanff Quintet). ils puisent dans le répertoire de musique traditionnelle Bretonne et le réinventent en l'associant à leurs compositions originales et personnelles.

After several years of collaboration, the members of Zorba are now planning on recording a first memory of their music. The first EP 5 tracks will be released at the end of 2015.

The group is composed of Gweltaz Lintanf on box, Rémi Bouguennec on the wooden flute, Kevin Le Pennec on cittern and Hugues Lassere on doublebass. they collect in the Breton traditionnal repertoire and create their own twist by associating it with their own personal and original compositions.

Une première piste a été enregistrée avec Sylvain Barou au studio rock à l'ouest à Guingamp puis mise en vidéo par Camille le Pennec, dans le but de faire la promotion de cet EP à venir. Le reste de l'enregistrement se fera après l'été, en collaboration avec le label Ride on. Lors de la prise de vue de la vidéo, le groupe a également fait appel à Maria Menguy, qui a pris des photos dans différents endroits de Rennes, dans le but de réaliser une affiche pour le groupe, mais surtout pour créer le visuel de l'EP.

The recording of the full EP will be done after the summer, in collaboration with the music label Ride on. During the shooting of the video clip, the band also appealed to Maria Menguy, who has taken photos in few places in Rennes, with the aim of doing a poster for the group, but espacially to make the imagery of the EP.
