PRESENTATION : who am I ?

I was born in 1969.I'm a female diatonic harmonica player.

I've began my musical career playing the recorder by ear at the age of four, and continued with music in my teens, studying oboe.

I've discovered, and fell completely in love with the harmonica in my late thirty's. From the start I was successful in covering a broad range of genres, Blues, Celtic and Jazz. I've worked a lot at the new technique called overbending which allows one to play the full chromatic scale on a diatonic harmonica.

Amongst the very talented musicians I've played with are: Charlie Musselwhite, Kenny Neal, Melody Gardot Jean-Jacques Milteau, Basile Leroux, a famous French guitarist, and many more...

I've won the title of World harmonica vice champion in 2009

In 8 years I've gathered more than 17 million hits on Youtube, sharing in all simplicity my music to the world. I'm an official endorser of the Dannecker Harmonicas, ZT Amplifiers, Audix Microphones

During 9 years on Youtube and I've achieved 18 million views making me the most seen harmonica musician on Youtube

It's time for a genuine album

It's been 6 years that people on Youtube, Facebook and by private emails, are asking me several times a week where they can buy a CD.

I can't spend a week without several requests from people for having an album, and I assure you it's really frustrating not being able to sell them a really achieved project, and not another play along on backing tracks. This is not respecting people.

I want to record this album with real musicians, giving some genuine organic feel and a real and honest music.

ABOUT THE PROJECT :

This album will be a 10 or 12 tracks project, containing half of my own compositions, based on pop, blues, country and Indian music and the other half will be covers of songs treated in a complete different ways.

The blues is great and there will be some of this genre of music, but I want to this album to explore melodies and improvisations around inspirations coming from Pink Floyd, Jazz, Celtic music, pop songs. I"m obsessed with melodies

I know I play diatonic harmonica, I know I'm not young and as attractive as I used to, but if you check me out on Youtube you'll be surprised of the vast variety and charge of emotion that this instrument can do.

I want this Album being extremely well produced form the choice of musicians to the mastering, that's why I'm asking the 8000 euros to fund this project, we will need to hire the best to pull this off.
